(MoneyNewsWire.Net, August 16, 2015 ) Fenton, MI -- Two prominent Fenton charities have combined forces to hold a community fund-raising event; Run Through the Color and Flames 5K. The Fenton Education Foundation and the Fenton Firefighter's Charities will jointly benefit from all event income.
The following official notice further describes the event: "Please join us this year on Saturday, August 29th at 9:00 a.m. for our 1st annual Run Through the Color and Flames event, which will benefit both of our charities enabling us to help many people in our GREAT community. As in the past, the race will begin and finish at our fire station located at 205 E. Caroline Street in Fenton. Join us afterward for some fun events downtown featuring live music, food and drinks."
The Presenting Sponsor for the event is Foguth Financial Group, LLC, a local business known for supporting many community causes. In 2004, the Fenton Area Public Schools created the Fenton Education Foundation to assist in developing and enriching the overall educational experience of our youth. The foundation exists for the purpose of supporting and fostering strong academic programs, comprehensive athletic programs and vibrant art programs within our schools. It has allowed us as a community to privately enhance a public school system that will make our community and the Fenton Area Public Schools recognized amongst the top in the state.

- To provide a structure to manage funds that others may wish to leave to enhance the learning opportunities of children in Fenton Area

Our charity has been created by the dedicated firefighters from the City of Fenton, Michigan, who truly believe that we can make a difference in our community.
