(MoneyNewsWire.Net, November 18, 2015 ) Findlay, OH -- Wayne Peck, founder of Successful Solutions Findlay Ohio recognizes Hancock County Saves' work in increasing financial stability in the community. Specifically, he congratulates the organization, Jenny Schaub and especially Chris Huber for the recent successful Fraud & Identity theft workshops.
Hancock Saves' officer Chris Huber presented and shared with attendees what is happening in the Findlay community regarding fraud and identity theft. Attendees learned what to watch for and what to do if they are a victim of fraud or identity theft as well as ways to avoid becoming an unintended victim.
Wayne Peck commented on the program: "Every time Hancock Saves offers another financial stability program to the community we see the importance of the mission. Fraud and Identity Theft can so-often be prevented by an educated consumer. These workshops make our community less likely to be targeted by criminals."
The first program, titled; "Identity Theft - Be Aware", was held on Thursday October 1 at The University of Findlay Alumni Memorial. The second program, focusing on fraud, was titled "Fraud - What to Watch For". That program was held Tuesday October 6 at Brown Mackie College.
The events were free and open to the public.
