Roy Frank, a noted real estate broker and investor was the featured speaker. He concisely stated the reasons an agent should utilize a real estate broker. First, there is a higher commission split. Secondly, there is less overhead. An agent can have a “virtual office” i.e., work from home.
There are other advantages, Frank stated. Many agents don’t understand it’s not the brand name, it’s the agent. A good broker who utilizes Search Engine Optimization (SEO) can put the agent to page one of Google Search Engine results. Billboards are passé. Google, Social Media and other internet marketing techniques have supplanted antiquated methods.
