(MoneyNewsWire.Net, December 30, 2014 ) Preston Byrd's Ploutus Fund, a Memphis real estate investment program management firm, has a $200 million equity agreement with TransAtlantic Capital that will enable the company to expand beyond its current markets and properties - adding dramatically to the number of units that the company currently has under its management. "The newly formed division of TransAtlantic will be rolling out early in 2015," said a spokesman for the company. "We anticipate construction to begin on our first units shortly thereafter."
The company formerly specialized in building and managing property investments in Memphis, but is now setting its sights on dramatic expansion over the coming months. "Our new agreement with TransAtlantic has set us on pace to become a billion-dollar operation over the next three years.
