(MoneyNewsWire.Net, May 07, 2015 ) Boise, ID -- According to police, the Ford Ranger was attempting to turn into the parking lot of Meridian High School when he rear-ended the teens’ car, driving completely over the left back end of their vehicle. His truck came to a stop, with the corner of the car wedged between the truck’s right set of tires.
The truck showed surprisingly little damage. Unfortunately, the same could not be said for the Nissan.
The condition of the teenagers is currently unknown, and the accident will undergo further investigation before any citations are issued for it.
Teen drivers often get a bad rap for being irresponsible behind the wheel. In fact, drivers under the age of 20 are three times more likely to be involved in a fatal auto collision. However, fault of an accident should never be assumed – especially when injuries are involved.
