(MoneyNewsWire.Net, January 21, 2016 ) Sunnyvale, CA -- Now that financial institutions are complying with the mandate to get every credit cart or debit card embedded with the new "smart chip" people will need to protect their credit cards from unauthorized scans. The new RFID (Radio Frequency Identification Data) technology allows electronic pickpockets to scan cards from a distance of up to 20 feet away. That is if they are not protected. To shield cards from this unscrupulous activity, one needs to put their cards in an RFID protector sleeve or RFID wallet.
Says Ms Fabian, CEO and founder of Lifetime Products Group (parent company of The Card Armor Company), "Identity theft has reached an all-time high up into the multi-billions of dollars. Now that we have the new RFID technology which allows for greater security during transactions, we also are open to other security risks. Americans don't realize how easy it is for criminals to walk by them and pick up sensitive information on credit cards, passports, drivers licenses, even social security cards."
Most sleeves are made of paper or plastic. That unfortunately makes it hard to identify one's cards and they wear out relatively fast becomoing less effective with each new wrinkle. The new Card Armor sleeve has a clear front to enable easy identification. It also fits well into standard sized wallets. With an easy in-and-out slide of a card with this sleeve one can go on with their day with peace of mind.
The Card Armor sleeve has received many rave reviews from its customers on Amazon. Here is a review from one satisfied customer on Amazon:
5.0 out of 5 starsLife has a funny way for bringing you what you need. By M. Calas on January 4, 2015
"Life has a funny way for bringing you what you need. About a year ago when I was moving to a different building in DTLA, I went to order food and I received an alert when I was using my Paypal Debit car. 17 minutes prior to me ordering food, my debit card number was being used in Riverside! Fortunately, Paypal caught on and phoned me. It was impossible that I would be using my card within 17 minutes from DTLA and Riverside. The interesting thing was that I had my card on me. I had not lost it.
The people using my number were buying a bunch of stuff at Radio Shack, Pizza Hut and Forever 21. Although I do try to maintain my girlish figure (I am a man) I would never be able to fit in a size 0 mini-skirt. How did they use my card? The good people at Paypal told me that nowadays your card can be scanned from within your wallet, specially if it is the closet to the outside of your wallet and/or pocket. Great, how do I protect myself from that.
That's where these sleeves come in. I'm photographer and low and behold I just got hired to photograph these sleeves for RFID Security Experts! Ha, there you have it, the perfect solution. The best part was that I was able to test them out in several situations as I photographed them. I liked them so much that I ended up keeping several of the samples.
They are very light and thin, and don't bog down the wallet. I feel much better knowing that now all my credit cards are protected from thieves that buy miniskirts at Forever 21!!
This company was a pleasure to work with as well."
One may buy these Card Armor Sleeves on Amazon as long as supplies are available.
