(MoneyNewsWire.Net, February 20, 2016 ) London, UK -- We are seeing a huge spike in the value of the new cryptocurrency ClubCoin this week. On Monday 8th February values were seen soaring and are were trading on the open Bitrex market at over $0.50 per coin. ClubCoin was launched as part of a Founders Pack giveaway by The BitClub Network when purchasing their Bitcoin mining shares Founders pack. Up to February 1st investing $3500 in their Bitcoin mining pools rewarded the investor with 7,104 of the new ClubCoin. Many investors were understandably unsure about what, if anything, these would become worth. However if these were now sold today they would be exchanged for over $4000. A few days ago their value was hovering around half of this at $0.25. Bear in mind that Clubcoin was only launched back in December 2015 and this growth is very exciting with a significant amount of money is being traded in this new currency. ClubCoin can still be acquired as you purchase into the Bitclub Network's Bitcoin mining pools.
If you have them should you sell them now? Well, if an individual who had invested in the Founders packs did sell they would fully recoup the initial investment of $3500 for the Bitcoin mining shares and would be in 100% profit from that point on. However, even though we expect these values to both soar and dip in the near future, it is believed that this demonstrates that the ClubCoin value is something to monitor for the longterm. This appears to be further evidence that while the cryptocurrency is certainly volatile it seems to represent an excellent long term investment opportunity, and that plenty of new funds are being injected into Bitcoin and other digital currency.
BitClub Network announced the launch of the new Proof-of-Stake coin called ClubCoin in December 2015. They have pre-mined 80 million coins that will be given away to BitClub Network members and used to secure the network. 50 million of these coins are due to be given away FREE, 15 million will be kept to secure and launch a staking pool and another 15 million have been allocated to key staking partners.
